TERMS OF SALE FOR TIMBER LOT LIMITED (THE “SELLER”)

Pricing:
All prices for our products are denominated in £GBP.
All prices are exclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) and any other applicable taxes or charges unless otherwise stated. The buyer is responsible for payment of all such taxes or charges as itemised by Timber Lot on issued invoices. Timber Lot Limited is a VAT registered company, VAT registration number 451104833. There may be discounts and promotional offers available from time-to-time, at the sole discretion of the seller, which may be subject to change. Any price changes or promotional offers will be made clear at the time of purchase and the price agreed will be paid in full by the buyer.

Payment Terms:
Payments must be made in £GBP. More favorable payment terms may be available by request and at the sole discretion of the seller.

Minimum Order Quantity:
The minimum order quantity for our products is 3 CBM through www.timberlot.co.uk. Minimum orders through bespoke orders will be given at the time of order.

Delivery and Lead Time:
The standard lead time for delivery is between 5 working days and 15 working days from the date of order confirmation, unless otherwise advised at time of order. This may occasionally vary due to matters affecting shipping and logistics, availability of timber made available by suppliers, which is outside of the sellers’s control.
Expedited delivery times can be arranged upon request and may incur additional charges.
Delivery dates provided are estimates and while we strive to meet these timelines, delays may occasionally occur. No refunds will be applicable, where orders have already been processed by either the seller or suppliers to the seller.

Delivery Charges:
Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, delivery charges will be borne by the seller as stipulated during checkout in the buying process through this website and at the time of order for orders placed by email or phone.

Quality and Certification:
Quality Assurance: All timber products supplied by the seller conform to the quality stipulated at the time of purchase. Every batch of our product undergoes stringent quality checks to ensure consistency and adherence to the specifications agreed upon at the time of order.

Due to the natural qualities of our timber products, the buyer should assume some flexibility in the grading and supply, where the seller will endeavour to supply products that reflect our grading specification.

Certification: Our products are normally sourced from suppliers who meet the requirements of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and/or the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC), ensuring sustainable and ethical sourcing. Otherwise Timber Lot complies with UKTR regulations. Any requirement for certification should be sought before completing the purchase by website, phone, and email.

Inspection upon Delivery:
The buyer is responsible for inspecting the goods upon delivery. Any discrepancies, defects, or damages must be reported in writing immediately upon delivery to sales@timberlot.co.uk. Failure to report within 24hrs will be considered as acceptance of the goods.

Returns and Cancellations:
Custom orders or specially manufactured products cannot be cancelled once the order has been placed.
Returns will only be accepted for products that are defective. All returns must be approved in advance by the seller.

Liability:
The seller’s liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the sale of goods, whether in contract, or otherwise, shall not exceed the purchase price of the goods. The seller shall not be liable for any consequential or indirect losses whatsoever.

Force Majeure:
The seller shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under this agreement due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, governmental actions, war or national emergency, acts of terrorism, fire, explosion, flood, epidemic, lock-outs, strikes or other labor disputes.

Governing Law:
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Disputes arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Entire Agreement:
These terms of sale, along with any related order confirmation or invoice, constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede any prior understandings, written or oral, relating to the subject matter of this agreement. This agreement relates to the sale of goods through any transactional method utilised by the company, including but not limited to sales processed via this website, over the phone, by BACs, or any other means.

NOTE: The buyer acknowledges that they have read and understood these terms of sale and agree to be bound by them.
